Solenoid interlocks, also referred to as safety switches with guard locking, cause safety guards as well as other protective devices to remain closed as long as a dangerous condition or risk of injury to persons exists. Access can only be gained when a release signal is present, for example from a higher-level control system. Key transfer - safety switches combined with mechanical solenoid interlocks
The SAFEMASTER STS key transfer system combines electrical safety gate monitoring with mechanical, wiring-free guard locking. In this way, individual key transfer concepts can also be implemented without wiring. For example, a main access that is frequently used is monitored electrically. Accesses that are only rarely used can be protected purely mechanically or without wiring. Due to different environmental conditions, the FRP version can also be combined with the stainless steel version without any problems.
